N-DFS  |  8× in 2 senses
Incorruption, immortality; also moral integrity or purity — freedom from decay in body or character.
A noun describing the quality of being imperishable, untouched by decay or death. Paul uses it powerfully in 1 Corinthians 15 to depict the resurrection body that replaces what is perishable, and in Romans 2:7 for the eternal life sought by those who persist in doing good. In 2 Timothy 1:10 Christ himself is said to have brought immortality to light through the gospel. A secondary ethical sense surfaces in Titus 2:7, where it denotes integrity or soundness in teaching — a moral incorruptibility that mirrors the physical.

Senses
1. incorruption, immortality The quality of being imperishable or immortal — freedom from physical decay and death. Paul contrasts the perishable body sown in burial with the imperishable body raised in glory (1 Cor 15:42, 50, 53-54). In Romans 2:7 it names what the righteous pursue, and in 2 Timothy 1:10 it is what the appearing of Christ has illuminated. German 'Unvergänglichkeit' and Spanish 'incorrupción' both capture this concrete, ontological sense of deathlessness.

2. integrity, purity (moral) Moral soundness, integrity, or purity of character — an ethical extension of the root idea of incorruption. Used once in Titus 2:7 to describe the quality that should mark sound teaching. Spanish renders it 'integridad' here rather than 'incorrupción,' signaling that translators across languages perceive a distinct ethical nuance separate from the physical immortality sense.
