Peter uses it in 1 Peter 1:3 to bless God who κατὰ τὸ πολὺ αὐτοῦ ἔλεος ἀναγεννήσας ἡμᾶς—according to his great mercy has caused us to be born again—to a living hope through Christ's resurrection.
