you (2nd person masculine singular pronoun)

Senses
1. you (2nd person masculine singular pronoun) The independent second person masculine singular pronoun, used throughout the Hebrew Bible for direct address. All three clusters are identical in meaning: the bare pronoun (eng: you/You, spa: tú/Tú, hin: तू/तूने, arb: أَنْتَ, kor: 네가/너는, swa: wewe), the conjunctive form with waw (eng: and-you/but-you, spa: y-tú/Y-tú, arb: وَ-أَنْتَ, hin: और-तू, swa: na-wewe), and a rare ketiv variant (S85007) that is simply a scribal spelling variant of the same pronoun. Multilingual evidence is perfectly uniform. 743×
