Roca desnuda, superficie rocosa expuesta y lisa, sin cobertura vegetal ni tierra
Término que designa una superficie de roca lisa y descubierta, desprovista de vegetación o cualquier cobertura. Ezequiel lo emplea cuatro veces en los capítulos 24 y 26: describe la peña desnuda donde la sangre fue derramada a la vista de todos (24:7-8) y profetiza que Tiro quedará como roca pelada donde se tenderán redes de pesca (26:4, 14). Nehemías 4:7 podría aludir a lugares abiertos y expuestos. La imagen transmite desolación total: roca despojada de suelo, plantas y todo refugio.
Sentidos

Peña desnuda — Ezequiel 24:7-8 emplea dos veces «peña desnuda» (צְחִיחַ סֶלַע) como el sitio donde se derramó la sangre de Jerusalén, no sobre tierra que la absorbiera, sino sobre roca expuesta que clama venganza.
