Este verbo describe la acción de abrir la boca de par en par, ya sea por codicia voraz (el Seol en Isa 5:14), burla hostil (Job 16:10), deseo ansioso de algo bueno (Job 29:23) o anhelo espiritual (Sal 119:131).
