Cerrar, tapar, obstruir; clausurar o confinar bloqueando
Este verbo significa cerrar, tapar u obstruir, y se usa para sellar manantiales y acallar bocas. Génesis 8:2 describe el retroceso del diluvio: «las fuentes del abismo y las ventanas de los cielos fueron cerradas», sellando las fuentes del juicio divino.
