This (feminine demonstrative pronoun); with preposition ke-, 'thus, in this manner'
A feminine demonstrative pronoun equivalent to the more common zōʾt, found primarily in Ecclesiastes where zōʾt never appears. Qoheleth uses zōh to point at experiences, judgments, and situations he has weighed — 'this also is vanity' (Eccl 2:2, 24; 5:15–18). Outside Ecclesiastes it occurs in 2 Kings 6:19 when Elisha redirects the Aramean soldiers: 'this is not the way.' Combined with the preposition ke- it forms the adverbial expression kāzōh, 'thus' or 'in this manner,' appearing in the paired phrase kāzōh wekāzeh ('thus and so') when reporting the gist of a conversation, as in Judges 18:4 and 2 Samuel 11:25.
