Quitar, apartar; expulsar o enviar al destierro
Este verbo aparece en la literatura sapiencial y profética con el sentido de remover o expulsar. Proverbios lo emplea dos veces para quitar la escoria de la plata y apartar al impío de la presencia del rey (Pr 25:4-5), estableciendo una metáfora de purificación.
