Cubrir por completo, velar, ocultar; envolver o revestir algo enteramente
Este verbo significa cubrir algo por todos lados o envolverlo, ocultándolo de la vista. Los guardias en el juicio de Jesús le «vendaron los ojos» antes de golpearlo y exigirle que profetizara quién lo había herido (Mr 14:65; Lc 22:64). Hebreos describe el arca del tabernáculo como «recubierta de oro por todas partes» (He 9:4).
