Todavia no, aun no; indica algo anticipado pero que aun no se ha realizado o experimentado.
Adverbio de negacion temporal que indica que un estado o acontecimiento esperado aun no se ha cumplido. El Evangelio de Juan lo emplea de manera incisiva: el Espiritu 'todavia no' habia sido dado porque Jesus aun no habia sido glorificado (Jn 7:39), y los discipulos 'todavia no' entendian la Escritura acerca de la resurreccion (Jn 20:9). En Jn 19:41 describe un sepulcro donde 'nadie habia sido puesto todavia'. Hch 8:16 senala que el Espiritu 'todavia no' habia descendido sobre los samaritanos. El espanol 'todavia no' preserva fielmente la expectativa temporal inherente al adverbio griego.
