Verbo que significa guiar o conducir a alguien por un camino, derivado de ὁδός (camino) + ἡγέομαι (dirigir). Posee sentidos tanto literales como metafóricos en el NT. En Mt 15:14 y Lc 6:39, guías ciegos conducen a otros a un hoyo. En Jn 16:13, el Espíritu de verdad 'os guiará a toda la verdad'. En Hch 8:31, el eunuco etíope pide a Felipe que lo guíe en la comprensión de las Escrituras.
