torcer, hacer torcido, pervertir — distorsionar lo recto o lo justo
Enraizado en la idea de torcer físicamente, este verbo se extiende con fuerza al terreno moral y judicial. En su forma Piel describe la distorsión deliberada de caminos, justicia o conducta: los líderes de Miqueas 3:9 «tuercen todo lo recto» y en Isaías 59:8 los malvados «han torcido sus sendas». El participio Nifal en Proverbios 28:18 describe a quien es «perverso en sus caminos», mientras que el Hifil en Job 9:20 presenta a Dios declarando perversa a una persona. La imagen central es la de doblar aquello que debería permanecer recto, tanto en sentido físico como moral.
