Garfios o trinchantes sacrificiales; horquillas de tres puntas para manipular las ofrendas sobre el altar
La מִזְלָגָה (siempre en plural en la Biblia hebrea) designa garfios o trinchantes grandes empleados en el servicio sacrificial. Estos utensilios formaban parte del equipamiento del altar del tabernáculo (Ex 27:3; 38:3; Nm 4:14) y posteriormente del templo de Salomón (1 Cr 28:17; 2 Cr 4:16). Su aparición constante junto a tazones, paletas y braseros los identifica como implementos estándar del culto para el manejo de los holocaustos. El español garfios subraya su función de enganchar y voltear la carne sobre el fuego del altar.
