Used of Israel's persistent unfaithfulness: Hosea 10:13 you have plowed wickedness, reaped lies (kachash); 7:3 with their lies (plural with suffix); 11:12 Ephraim surrounds me with lies. In Psalms: Ps 59:12 the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, for lying (umikkachash). In Nahum: Nah 3:1 the city of bloodshed, full of lies (kachash).
