Zebah -- a Midianite king captured and slain by Gideon alongside Zalmunna
Zebah (zebach) is the proper name of one of two Midianite kings (the other being Zalmunna) who oppressed Israel and were pursued, captured, and executed by Gideon in the aftermath of the great Midianite rout at the Wadi Harod (Judg 7-8). The pair became paradigmatic examples of defeated enemies in Israel's memory, as Psalm 83:11 recalls: 'Make their nobles like Zebah and Zalmunna.' All twelve occurrences refer to this single historical individual. Cross-lingual evidence uniformly preserves the name: English Zebah, Spanish Zebaj, French Zebach, German Zebah.

Senses
1. Zebah (proper name, Midianite king) The proper name Zebah, designating the Midianite king who, together with Zalmunna, was pursued and slain by Gideon after Israel's deliverance from Midianite oppression (Judg 8:5-21). The name became proverbial for divine judgment on Israel's enemies (Ps 83:11). Conjunctive and prepositional variants ('and Zebah,' 'like Zebah') are syntactic, not semantic. Every target language preserves the transliteration unchanged, confirming monosemous proper-noun status. 12×
