Golpear, llamar a la puerta, arrear con fuerza (animales o personas)
Este verbo describe un golpear enérgico y repetido. Aparece cuando Jacob teme que sus rebaños sean arreados con excesivo rigor (Gn 33:13), cuando hombres perversos golpean la puerta exigiendo satisfacción violenta (Jue 19:22), y en el clamor de la amada: «¡Escucha! Mi amado está llamando» (Cnt 5:2). El campo semántico abarca tanto el impulso violento —empujar, arrear— como la acción percusiva de llamar a una puerta.
