Horao es el verbo griego fundamental de la vista, y en el Nuevo Testamento su alcance va mucho mas alla de la simple percepcion visual. Su participio aoristo idon ('habiendo visto') impulsa relato tras relato: los magos 'vieron' la estrella (Mt 2:10), Jesus 'vio' las multitudes (Mt 5:1), Tomas finalmente 'vio' al Senor resucitado (Jn 20:29). Su contribucion mas distintiva es la forma exclamativa idou ('!he aqui!'), que aparece mas de 250 veces como foco dramatico para anuncios angelicos, visiones profeticas e intervenciones divinas. La voz pasiva ophthe ('aparecio') se convierte en el vocabulario estandar de la resurreccion y la teofania: Cristo 'aparecio' a Pedro, a los doce, a quinientos (1 Co 15:5-8).
2. !he aqui! (exclamativo) — La interjeccion exclamativa idou, que significa '!he aqui!' o '!mira!': 256 ocurrencias que la convierten en uno de los marcadores discursivos mas frecuentes del Nuevo Testamento.
