Length is one of the fundamental spatial dimensions. Paul prays believers will grasp the full dimensions of Christ's love—breadth, length, height, and depth (Eph 3:18). In John's vision of the New Jerusalem, the city is measured: its length equals its width and height, forming a perfect cube (Rev 21:16, mentioned twice). The term is straightforward: linear extension. Across languages—'longitud' (Spanish), 'longueur' (French), 'Länge' (German)—the translations converge on this basic geometric concept.
