Tibni (personal name: rival to Omri for Israel's throne)
Tibni son of Ginath was a rival claimant to the throne of Israel after King Elah's assassination, competing against Omri for six years. 1 Kings 16:21-22 records that when Zimri died, 'the people of Israel were divided': half followed Tibni and half followed Omri.
