The site of Gideon's final victory over the Midianite kings Zebah and Zalmunna. After routing the Midianite forces through the valley, Gideon pursued them to Qarqor where he captured the two kings. The exact location east of Jordan is unknown, but it represents the completion of Gideon's divinely-granted victory with just 300 men. The pursuit to Qarqor shows Gideon's determination to thoroughly execute God's deliverance - partial victory wasn't enough. This otherwise unknown place became the site where God finished what he began, turning complete defeat for Midian and complete deliverance for Israel.
