Husai propone arrastrar una ciudad entera con sogas hasta un barranco (2 S 17:13), mientras Jeremías profetiza cadáveres arrastrados por las puertas de Jerusalén (Jer 15:3; 22:19) y cautivos llevados a rastras como ovejas atrapadas por un depredador (Jer 49:20 = 50:45). El español 'arrastrar' y el inglés 'drag' preservan por igual la fisicidad visceral de la acción.
