Verbo que significa volverse dulce o ser agradable, abarcando tanto el sabor literal como el deleite figurado. En Exodo 15:25 las aguas amargas de Mara se endulzan cuando Dios muestra a Moises un arbol para echar en ellas, un relato vivido de transformacion divina. Proverbios 9:17 advierte que las aguas robadas 'saben dulces', usando la dulzura literal como metafora del atractivo del placer ilicito.
