Verbo denominativo derivado de יָמִין ('mano derecha, sur'), empleado en Hifil con el sentido de 'ir a la derecha' o 'usar la mano derecha.' Aparece en contextos tanto espaciales como morales: Abram ofrece a Lot la opción de ir a la derecha o a la izquierda (Gn 13:9), Isaías advierte contra desviarse del camino verdadero (Is 30:21), y a la espada de Ezequiel se le ordena dirigirse a la derecha (Ez 21:16). En 1 Cr 12:2 describe a los guerreros benjamitas ambidextros, capaces de lanzar y disparar con ambas manos.
