gotear, destilar, filtrar — de ojos que lloran o techos que gotean
Este verbo describe la acción de gotear o destilar, ya sea de lágrimas o de agua. Job 16:20 lamenta: «mi ojo gotea hacia Dios» (דָּלְפָה עֵינִי אֶל־אֱלוֹהַּ). Salmo 119:28 lo emplea figuradamente: «mi alma se deshace de tristeza» (דָּלְפָה נַפְשִׁי מִתּוּגָה). Eclesiastés 10:18 lo aplica a una casa deteriorada: «gotea la casa» (יִדְלֹף הַבָּיִת) por falta de reparaciones. El verbo capta la imagen de líquido cayendo lentamente: lágrimas que brotan, vida que se agota, agua que se filtra entre grietas. Aparece exclusivamente en la literatura sapiencial.
