Lagar, instalación o cuba para pisar uvas
El término hebreo estándar para el lagar, la instalación donde se pisaban las uvas para extraer su jugo. Aparece tanto en contextos literales como en poderosos usos figurados. Gedeón trilla trigo en un lagar para ocultarlo de Madián (Jue 6:11) y Nehemías observa la profanación del sábado junto a los lagares (Neh 13:15). En el ámbito profético, el lagar se convierte en símbolo del juicio divino: Isaías retrata a Dios pisando el lagar a solas con vestiduras teñidas de rojo (Is 63:2), Lamentaciones muestra al Señor pisando un lagar sobre Jerusalén (Lm 1:15) y Joel llama a los guerreros a pisar porque el lagar está lleno (Jl 3:13).
