Alush, a wilderness station during Israel's exodus journey
A place name designating one of Israel's encampments during the wilderness wandering, appearing only in the itinerary list of Numbers 33. Alush was the station immediately following Dophkah and preceding Rephidim in Israel's journey from Egypt to Sinai. The location remains unidentified in modern geography, like many of the wilderness stations. The name's etymology is uncertain.
