Cruel, feroz, despiadado — describe a personas o fuerzas que actúan con dureza salvaje e implacable.
Este adjetivo pinta un cuadro vívido de severidad implacable. Proverbios advierte que incluso las misericordias de los impíos son crueles (12:10) y que un mensajero cruel será enviado contra el rebelde (17:11). Jeremías describe a los ejércitos enemigos como crueles y sin compasión (6:23; 50:42). Isaías lo emplea para referirse al terrible día del SEÑOR (13:9). El término אַכְזָרִי transmite una ferocidad despiadada que no admite matices: es la brutalidad sin misericordia llevada al extremo.
