One of Simeon's six sons listed in the genealogies (Genesis 46:10, Exodus 6:15). The name's meaning is uncertain, though it may relate to 'unity' or 'might.' Ohad appears in the early genealogical lists but is absent from later censuses (Numbers 26), suggesting his family line either died out or was absorbed into other Simeonite clans. His inclusion in the Genesis and Exodus lists documents the family that went down to Egypt during the famine.
