Mano, manos — la parte del cuerpo, expresando también agencia, poder, custodia y acción divina.
El griego χείρ ('mano') despliega un abanico enorme de usos en el Nuevo Testamento, desde lo concretamente físico hasta lo profundamente metafórico. Jesús sana mediante la imposición de manos (Mc 6:5), lava metafóricamente las manos de sus discípulos a través del lavamiento de pies (Jn 13) y muestra sus manos traspasadas como prueba de la resurrección (Lc 24:40). 'La mano del Señor' denota poder y acción divinos (Hch 11:21). Idiomáticamente, ser entregado 'en manos de' alguien significa caer bajo su poder (Mt 17:22). El español 'manos', el francés 'main' y el alemán 'Hand' reflejan el mismo espectro de lo literal a lo figurado.
