Traidor, delator; quien entrega o abandona a otro en momento de peligro
Este sustantivo designa a un traidor o delator: alguien que entrega a otra persona o la abandona en un momento de peligro. El griego clásico lo utilizaba para traidores políticos y quienes violaban juramentos. El Nuevo Testamento lo aplica tanto a Judas Iscariote en particular como al carácter general de los traidores. Conlleva una fuerte condenación moral, señalando una deslealtad profunda y deliberada.
