blow (of wind)
1. blow (of wind) To blow, of wind or air in motion. Used throughout the NT exclusively of wind blowing: the winds that blew against a house (Matt 7:25, 7:27), the wind that blows where it wishes (John 3:8), a strong wind blowing on the sea (John 6:18), the south wind blowing (Luke 12:55), a wind blowing toward shore (Acts 27:40), and winds prevented from blowing on the earth (Rev 7:1). All multilingual glosses consistently render as blow/wehen/souffler/soplar/nashav. Purely inflectional variation across all five original clusters.
