Prevalecer contra, vencer, ser lo suficientemente fuerte; tener fuerza o poder superior
Este verbo significa prevalecer contra, vencer o demostrar ser más fuerte que la oposición. En Mateo 16:18, Jesús pronuncia su célebre promesa: «Las puertas del Hades no prevalecerán contra» la iglesia.
