Adverbio que significa 'por necesidad' o 'de manera obligatoria', derivado de ἀνάγκη (necesidad). En Hechos 15:28 se emplea en el decreto apostólico dirigido a los creyentes gentiles: 'Pareció bien al Espíritu Santo y a nosotros no imponeros mayor carga que estas cosas necesarias' (ἐπάναγκες). El término distingue los requisitos esenciales de las prácticas opcionales, señalando estándares mínimos innegociables.
