Se usa para referirse a las antiguas costumbres pecaminosas (Ga 1:13, Ef 4:22), la vida cristiana ejemplar (1 Ti 4:12, 1 P 3:1-2), y el patron de vida de lideres dignos de imitar (He 13:7). El plural en He 13:7 no indica un sentido distinto, sino la forma acumulativa de toda una vida. 13×
