† [גְּרוּשָׁה] n.f. expulsion, violence. Only pl. sf. גְּרֻשֹׁתֵיכֶם Ez 45:9 your acts of expulsion (cf. Ew Da; ‘Raubereien’ Sm Co).
† III. [חמץ] vb. be ruthless (dub. √; perhaps by-form of חמם; perhaps error for it; identif. by most with I. חמץ, be sour, hence sharp, violent, but connexion improb.)—only Qal Pt. act. מִכַּף מְעַוּל וְחוֹמֵץ ψ 71:4 from the hand of the unjust and ruthless (‖ מִיַּד רָשָׁע).
