Fin, límite, plenitud; el confín extremo o la extensión máxima de algo
Este sustantivo expresa la idea de alcanzar un límite final o la plenitud absoluta de algo. En Nehemías 3:21 marca un punto espacial: 'el fin de la casa de Eliasib.' En Job se extiende hacia lo metafísico: ¿puede un mortal alcanzar 'el límite del Todopoderoso' (11:7) o explorar 'todo confín remoto' de la tierra (28:3)? El Salmo 139:22 gira hacia un sentido cualitativo — 'odio completo' — donde la palabra funciona como intensificador adverbial, describiendo la totalidad absoluta de la oposición del salmista al mal.
