This is the name of a well that Isaac dug and named in Genesis 26, directly connected to the naming of Beer-sheba. After making a covenant with Abimelech, Isaac's servants found water, and he named the well Shibah (meaning 'oath' or possibly 'seven'). The text explicitly states this is why the city was called Beer-sheba ('well of the oath' or 'well of seven').
