Se refiere a la forma, el diseño o la estructura visible de una construcción. Casi todas sus apariciones se concentran en la gran visión del templo de Ezequiel (Ez 43:11), donde Dios ordena al profeta mostrar a Israel la tsurat ('forma') del templo para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades y estudien su diseño. La única aparición fuera de Ezequiel se encuentra en el Salmo 49:14, donde describe la 'forma' de los muertos consumiéndose en el Seol. El término en español 'forma' capta bien el significado central, aunque la especificidad arquitectónica en Ezequiel le confiere un matiz técnico que va más allá de la mera 'apariencia'.
