Palabra, decreto, mandato o comunicación oficial (préstamo arameo del persa)
Sustantivo arameo de origen persa (pitgam) que significa palabra, decreto o comunicación oficial. Abarca desde un mandato real (Esd 6:11) hasta correspondencia diplomática (Esd 4:17; 5:7), pasando por una respuesta formal (Esd 5:11) e incluso un sentido más general de 'asunto' o 'cuestión' (Dan 3:16; 4:17). El vocablo entró al arameo desde el antiguo persa patigama ('mensaje'), y su matiz burocrático encaja perfectamente en los contextos imperiales de Esdras y Daniel.
