soplar (del viento); hacer soplar o ahuyentar soplando
Este verbo describe la acción de soplar del viento o de hacer que algo sea soplado. En su forma Qal aparece en Isaías 40:7: «el aliento de YHWH sopla sobre ella», marchitando la hierba y secando las flores como imagen de la fragilidad humana. En la forma Hifil causativa, el Salmo 147:18 dice «hace soplar su viento» y el hielo se derrite en agua corriente. En Génesis 15:11, Abraham «ahuyentó» las aves de rapiña del sacrificio, quizás conservando un sentido antiguo de espantar soplando. El verbo capta el poder del aliento o el viento para producir cambio: marchitar, derretir o dispersar.
Sentidos
1. Soplar y dispersar — El uso teológico de Isaías contrasta la fragilidad humana con la palabra eterna de Dios: el aliento divino marchita toda carne como hierba abrasada por el viento. El Salmo celebra el dominio soberano de Dios sobre el clima, cuyo viento derrite el hielo invernal. Génesis preserva el sentido de ahuyentar soplando, donde Abraham espanta las aves de rapiña del sacrificio. 3×
