install, establish, set up; appoint to position
This verbal form means to install, establish, or set up—particularly in an official or authoritative capacity. Both occurrences involve divine installation: God installing a king (Ps 2:6) and Wisdom being installed before creation (Prov 8:23). The root differs from the more common 'pour out' verb, instead coming from an Assyrian cognate meaning to install or appoint. The Qal and Niphal forms show active (God installing) and passive (Wisdom being installed) installation.

Sentidos
1. sense 1 Both texts describe primordial or royal installation by divine decree. Psalm 2:6 has God speaking against rebellious nations: 'As for me, I have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill' (nasakhti malki). This is divine appointment of the Davidic monarch, often read messianically. Proverbs 8:23 has Wisdom personified declaring her antiquity: 'Ages ago I was installed (nisakhti), at the first, before the beginning of the earth.' The Niphal form emphasizes her being set in place by Another (God). Both uses share the theme of authoritative establishment in a foundational role—the king as God's regent, Wisdom as God's first creation or companion. The parallel structure ('I have installed' / 'I was installed') shows active and passive perspectives on the same concept of being divinely positioned.
