hammered work, wrought metalwork; turned/polished work (or cucumber field)
1. hammered work, wrought metalwork Metalwork produced by hammering, specifically the beaten/wrought gold craftsmanship used in fabricating the menorah (lampstand) and other tabernacle furnishings (Exod 25:18, 31, 36; 37:7, 17, 22; Num 8:4). The two main clusters (S114071, S114072) both denote the same artisan technique with minor inflectional variation. Attested as: English 'hammered-work/hammered-work-of', Spanish 'labrado-a-martillo', Hindi 'garhi hui (गढ़ी हुई)/pita hua (पीटा हुआ)', Arabic 'matruqa (مَطروقَةً)', Korean 'chyeoseo-mandeun (쳐서 만든, made by striking)/dudeuryeo-mandeun (두드려 만든, made by hammering)', Swahili 'ya-kufua/ya-kufuliwa (forged/wrought)'.

2. turned/polished work (or cucumber field) A distinct usage of miqshah in Jer 10:5, where the context differs from the Exodus tabernacle passages. The English renders 'in-a-cucumber-field' (following LXX/Baruch parallel), while other versions treat it as lathe-turned or polished work: Spanish 'de-obra-torneada (lathe-turned work)', Hindi 'garhe hue (गढ़े हुए, carved)', Arabic 'masqula (مَصْقُولَةٍ, polished)', Korean 'dandanhan (단단한, firm/solid)', Swahili 'uliochongwa (carved/sculpted)'. The textual ambiguity (BDB lists this as a separate homograph miqshah II 'cucumber field' vs. miqshah I 'hammered work') justifies a separate sense.
