Esquina, contrafuerte angular — ángulo arquitectónico o punto de giro en un muro, altar o estructura edilicia.
El sustantivo מִקְצֹעַ (miqtsoa) designa una esquina o punto angular de giro en una estructura. Aparece en la construcción del tabernáculo, donde los bastidores de esquina se unen en ambos extremos (Éx 26:24; 36:29); en las reparaciones del muro de Nehemías, donde «el Ángulo» marca un punto específico de fortificación (Neh 3:19-20, 24-25); y en el templo visionario de Ezequiel, tanto para las esquinas del altar (Ez 41:22) como para los atrios cerrados de las esquinas (Ez 46:21-22).
