† [לָקַשׁ] vb. only Pi. 3 mpl., prob. denom. from לֶקֶשׁ = take the aftermath, i.e. take everything (Wetzst in DeHiob 26, 6) (> Buhl ii. לקשׁ, cf. Arabic لَقَثَ schnell zusammenraffen [cf. Lane2668]);—despoil; וְכֶרֶם רָשָׁע יְלַקֵּֽשׁוּ׃ Jb 24:6 and the vineyard of the wicked (but read prob. עָשִׁיר the rich Bu Du) they despoil (‖ קָצַר).
