Este sustantivo arameo aparece exclusivamente en Daniel, donde describe el honor y la gloria otorgados o retirados a los gobernantes. Nabucodonosor recibe 'gloria y honor' junto con su reino (Dn 2:37; 5:18), y esa misma gloria le es arrebatada durante su período de locura antes de serle restituida (Dn 4:33, 36).
