Yehosheva, daughter of Joram who saved Joash (2 Kings 11:2)
This theophoric name meaning 'Yahweh is an oath' or 'Yahweh has sworn' belongs to the courageous woman who rescued the infant Joash from Athaliah's massacre. She was King Joram's daughter, Queen Ahaziah's sister, and the high priest Jehoiada's wife. Chronicles 22:11 gives the alternate form Yehoshabeath. By hiding the legitimate heir for six years in the temple, Yehosheva preserved the Davidic line and made possible the covenant restoration under her husband's leadership.
