Hazar-enán ('aldea de las fuentes'), lugar en el límite noreste de la tierra prometida
Topónimo compuesto de חָצֵר ('recinto, aldea') y עֵינָן ('fuentes, manantiales'), que designa un asentamiento en el extremo noreste ideal de Canaán. Aparece en la descripción mosaica de las fronteras (Nm 34:9-10) y en la distribución visionaria de la tierra en Ezequiel (Ez 47:17; 48:1), marcando en ambos casos el punto donde la frontera norte gira hacia el oriente. Su presencia constante en textos tan distantes entre sí subraya su función como referencia geográfica fija en la concepción territorial de Israel.
