Honor, majestad, esplendor (especialmente de un rey); arameo
Sustantivo arameo que denota el esplendor y la majestad regia, presente en el relato de la locura y restauración de Nabucodonosor en Daniel. La «majestad» le fue devuelta al rey (Dn 4:30, 36), y Dios había otorgado «majestad» a Nabucodonosor (Dn 5:18). La palabra evoca la dignidad visible y la grandeza soberana, no una virtud interior, sino la manifestación externa de la autoridad real y del favor divino que la sustenta.

1. Majestad real — Describe la dignidad regia y el esplendor visible que Nabucodonosor perdió y recobró (Dn 4:30, 36) y que Dios le había concedido (Dn 5:18).
