Hagrita(s); grupo tribal nómada al este de Galaad, también usado como adjetivo gentilicio y patronímico
Los hagritas eran un pueblo seminómada que habitaba al este del Jordán, posiblemente de ascendencia aramea o ismaelita. Las tribus de Rubén, Gad y la media tribu de Manasés guerrearon contra ellos y los vencieron (1 Cr 5:10, 19-20), mientras que el Sal 83:6 los incluye entre la confederación que conspiraba contra Israel. Como adjetivo gentilicio, Jaziz el hagrita supervisaba los rebaños de David (1 Cr 27:31), un rol que probablemente reflejaba la pericia pastoril de su pueblo.
