1. building, structure — A constructed edifice or structure (Hebrew בִּנְיָן), used exclusively in Ezekiel's temple vision (Ezekiel 40-42) to describe the physical buildings of the eschatological temple complex. The two sense clusters differ only by the presence or absence of the Hebrew article (ha-binyan vs binyan) but denote the same concept. Consistently rendered across translations: English 'building', Spanish 'edificio', Hindi भवन/इमारत, Arabic الْبِنَاءِ/بِنَاءً, Korean 건물, Swahili 'jengo'.
